TAYPORT's FERRYPORT FESTIVAL (Jul, 2010)

TAYPORT's FERRYPORT FESTIVAL. The Winner of the Ferryport Festival School poster competition - a stormy day at the harbour. Great artwork by Claire P7 can be seen in the festival programme.

The Prince, Princess and attendants were elected by the Primary School children at a very successful disco night. Full details of Prince and Princess can be found in the festival programme. Prince and Princess are Kerr and Catlin, attendants are Logan and Charlotte.

Tayport Library

Will present two workshops on Thursday 15th July:

Tickets available at the Post Office - £1.00

20 spaces available in each workshop

Princesses and Heroes 10.30-11.30 am age 4 plus

Stories in the Garden (inside if wet) 2-2.45 pm age 3-7 yrs

Purves Puppet Show presents Aladdin

Friday 16th July in the Gregory Hall at 2pm

Tickets available from Post Office – Price £4.00

Aladdin is the son of a very poor family living in Baghdad. One day he meets his long lost uncle, Abanazar, and so begins an adventure full of magic, wonderful surprises, and fantastic scenes. Meet three funny mice called Bibbity, Bobbity and Boo - who help Aladdin on his journey to rescue Princess Yasmin. See fantastic special effects throughout this great production.

Fun-day – Sat 17th Jul 2010

Saturday 17th July 2010 Festival Parade

Will commence at 12 Noon from the Harbour.

Any fancy dress participants to be there for 11:50 am.

Fancy Dress Competition to be held on the Funday on Saturday 17th July 2010.

No theme - Prizes for most original costume. Sweeties for All.
