Become Part of the Fabric and History of Tayport Scout Group through Our Time Capsule.

The 37th Fife (1st Tayport) Scout Group are launching a fund raising event on Sunday 21st May with the the support of the Tayport Football Club at their Car Boot Sale.
We will be running a cake and candy stall as part of our continuing general and restoration fund raising activities to restore and modernise the Scout Hall.
The Beavers and Cubs are involved in making goodies for selling on the stall and we ask the community to support their efforts.
As part of the exterior refurbishment of the Scout Hall, the scout group are seeking the community and local businesses to become part of the fabric and history of the scout hall.
By donating £10 we will add your name and message into our “time capsule” for future generations of Beavers Cubs and Scouts to read in fifty years time.
How will we do this?  The exterior cladding requires replacing and we will install the time capsule when we refurbish the exterior of the scout hall.  Your name / business will also be added to our Role of Honour within the hall.
What will the money raised do:-
Improve and secure the exterior of the hall
Install insulation to reduce our carbon footprint
Reduce our costs
Support the children of our community.
Demonstrate community support for the  Scout Group restoration plans.
Provide general funding for the running of the Scout Group.

Dundee Mental Health Week 21 – 28 Apr 17

Mental health affects us all, that means anyone who wants to look after their mental well being.  You may be someone who has a mental illness or someone  who wants to look after their wellbeing mentally, just as you would physically.

Heart-Tay-Heart was created by Dundee people who have a passion and determination to encourage a different conversation around mental health.  It is the bringing together of a range of Mental Health Charities.  During Dundee Mental Health Week (21 – 28 April, 2017) they have arranged a programme of activities which will provide for a variety of interests.

The programme is laid out by organiser and not in date order.

Some activities require advance booking

Some activities are simply turn up but again please check the details for anything required.
